Culinary & Hospitality

Take a cooking class and enjoy learning how to make a new dish. Classes are perfect for taking with friends or as a date night activity. Registration opens April 15th!

 

Age Requirement: In compliance with State Board Community College Code and Continuing Education program standards, students must be 16 years or older to enroll in these classes. Exceptions are made only for self-supporting safe driving courses and summer enrichment programs for minors under 16 years of age.

 

Bartending

Learn the basics of bartending as a profession, private events or just for leisure. Hands-on instruction will be provided in crafting popular mixed cocktails in a fun environment. Topics include drink recipes, utensils, glassware, fruit cutting, bar procedures and North Carolina ABC laws. CEU: 2.4

Bake & Bond: An Adult-Child Cooking Experience

Whisk, knead, and create lasting memories together in this hands-on adult & child cooking class! You and your young chef will learn to make delicious homemade pretzels and scones—both sweet and savory—completely from scratch. Along the way, you'll build kitchen confidence, discover new skills, and enjoy quality time together. By the end of the class, you'll be ready to recreate these tasty treats at home for the whole family. Sign up today for a funfilled culinary adventure! Kids ages 8-14 with adult registered.
