Sandhills Hoke Center
Â鶹ÊÓƵ Hoke Center offers curriculum and workforce continuing education courses, as well as serves as the home for Sandhoke Early College High School.
Located in Raeford, NC, the Sandhills Hoke Center is on 10-acres of land donated to the College by Wyatt and Mary Upchurch. Groundbreaking for the first building, Upchurch Hall, was in 2000. Johnson Hall was completed in December of 2007 and SandHoke Hall was dedicated in 2012.

Most curriculum programs offer courses using various delivery formats to include online, hybrid, and face to face.

Student Resources
Students attending curriculum classes at the Sandhills Hoke Center have available to them all resources available to students’ attending classes on the Pinehurst Campus.
Sandhills Hoke Center students can purchase textbooks by visiting , Â鶹ÊÓƵ's official online bookstore. Students using financial aid to purchase textbooks must wait until the published purchase date. This is typically one week prior to the beginning of each semester.
Library
Sandhills Hoke Center students, faculty and staff are provided an adequate level of services available through Katharine L. Boyd Library on the Pinehurst campus. Using the 5 computers in the Hoke Center Resource Room, Boyd Library’s can be searched to locate print books and DVDs. Selected items can be sent for pickup/return between campuses. In addition, interlibrary loan is available through other Community Colleges, and more widely via OCLC. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ student ID card is also a library card. Boyd Library has subscriptions to 144 library databases, including NC Live. These databases provide free access to thousands of magazines, journals, newspapers, e-books, and video content from authoritative sources not found in a Google search. On-campus access is available instantly, and the MyÂ鶹ÊÓƵ login is needed for off-campus access. This contains access information, tutorials and how to contact a librarian for reference help.
Additionally, students, faculty and staff at the Hoke Center can use the designated computers in the Hoke Center Resource Room to meet their reference and research needs. Virtual help is available through Microsoft Teams on and off- campus with academic librarians at the Pinehurst campus. Appointments are encouraged due to staffing and can be virtual or in-person at Sandhills Hoke Center. After-hours reference help is available through after 5 PM on weekdays and 24/7 on weekends. Credentialed Librarians with masters’ degrees accredited by the American Library Association provide this service. There is no coverage on Federal holidays with the following exceptions: Washington's Birthday, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day
Personal Counseling
A personal counselor is on staff at the Sandhills Hoke Center to assist students with academic, personal, mental, or social issues that may be interfering with academic success. There is no fee for counseling services and sessions are strictly confidential. If you desire to seek counseling services off-campus or if you need long-term therapeutic services, our counselors will be happy to refer students to local providers.

Resource Room
Sandhills Hoke Center Resource Room is an open computer lab located in Upchurch Hall. Free usage is available to Â鶹ÊÓƵ curriculum students, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Workforce Continuing Education students, Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty, and staff. The Hoke Center Resource Room is also available to students from another college or university with a valid student ID from their home institution.
The Hoke Center Resource Room is equipped with networked computers and a printer. A variety of software is installed on each computer. All provide Internet access.
The Program Associate, located in Upchurch Hall, is ready to lend assistance.
